Krau Wildlife Reserve

Located 25 kilometres from Temerloh is the Krau Wildlife Reserve, a protected sanctuary that covers 53 hectares of lowland. The area is home to two Orang Asli tribes – the Jah Hut and the Sewang of the Senoi Group. Top on the list of activities for visitors here include bird watching, wildlife spotting, camping, jungle trekking, fishing and of course, climbing the 2,017 metres high Gunung Benom – the 6th highest peak in Peninsula Malaysia.
