The artworks of Malaysia’s most prolific cartoonist Datuk Mohd Nor Khalid or better known as Lat are on display now in a joint exhibition at the Pahang Arts Museum here.

Themed “illustrating ethnography” for customs and cultural heritage of Malaysians’ rites of passage, a total of 110 collection of Lat’s pieces and some 62 pieces of Pahang-born Aza’s (Abdul Razak Sofhi) artworks are on display in the musuem in Jalan Masjid, here from now until Nov 30.

Pahang plans to build new facilities to encourage more people to take up cycling and related events for health, leisure and sports besides drawing more visitors to the state. The plans include building lanes for leisure cycling, criterium (or crit) a bike race held on a short course (usually less than 5km) and often run on closed-off city centre streets; and half-pipe ramps structures used in extreme sports such as skateboarding and freestyle BMX.
