Juara Lagoon Resort is a spacious and colourful establishment run by the same management of Barook River View and the Juara Turtle Project. Located at the northern edge of Juara, near the end of Mentawak Bay, the resort is not open for conventional tourist stays, but provides a lodge for college groups and volunteers working on sea turtle conservation at the village. The accommodation is mostly dormitory-based, with a few wooden chalets perched along the beach. Just like its sister hotel, a river flows along its edge to the end of the cape. There are virtually no tourist facilities, except a large open-air hall with a cafeteria for gatherings.
