A new tourist attraction, a via ferrata, has been installed into a hillside in Kampung Paya Gunung and offers thrilling adventures – Paya Gunung Extrame Park. It takes about 1½ hours to finally reach the peak of Tower . It’s a spectacular sight, a panoramic 360-degree view of the surroundings, including Jerantut town, the Felda settlement, Kota Gelanggi caves and also the neighboring Gunung Senyum. The hill had existed for millions of years and villagers said the area was once a quarry. The Kampung Paya Gunung Pinnacle is a free-standing monolith with two distinct peaks namely Paya Gunung Tower A for the main peak and Paya Gunung Tower B for another peak. Through a multi-pitch climb or Via Ferrata will take you straight to the top of the main peak while the second peak can only be accessed by another Via Ferrata route.
